Install the tool over the spring pack, and tighten down the compression bolt. Loosen and remove the center pin nut, and center pin. Loosen the compression bolt til the springs decompress, and remove the tool. Install the new add-a-leaf in the appropriate location.

Replace the tool over the spring pack (you can loosen the two side nuts if the compressor needs to be more open to accommodate the new spring). Insert the new center pin, and begin to tighten the compression bolt to compress the pack. Push the center pin all the way through, and install the nut. Tighten the center pin nut and remove the tool.
